Submit a manuscript.
We read every submission. We respond, on average, within eight weeks. We are open across every imprint. We sign authors for the decade, not the season — read the principles before sending.
What to send

A one-page synopsis of the manuscript.

A two-page author bio with one paragraph on why you are writing this book now.
- 03
Three sample chapters (or, for non-fiction, the introduction plus one chapter from the middle of the manuscript).
- 04
A short list of comparable titles published in the last decade, with one line each on what your book does that those do not.
What not to send
- A complete manuscript on first contact. We will ask for it after the sample reads well.
- Marketing materials, sales projections, or audience demographic spreadsheets.
- A pitch deck. The four items above are the pitch.
- Edited copies of other publishers’ rejection letters.
Choose an imprint
Each manuscript belongs to one of the twelve imprints. If you are not sure which one your book fits, send to the imprint that comes closest — the editor will route it onward if needed.
